1934 Austin Seven Utility – £6,950

1934 Austin Seven Utility

First registered in February 1934, this intriguing little Austin Seven Utility Special started life as a box saloon, and was renovated and converted several years ago.  The vehicle would now make an excellent and interesting show car or advertising/promotional truck for many businesses.  We understand that the original idea was to display it as a ‘milk float’ carrying churns, to emulate the original Austin Seven milk delivery car of 1930.  The conversion has been carried out well, and retains its front cab with well-fitting doors.  Up front, the 750cc engine was rebuilt in 2020 and as you can see from our video, now runs very well.   The running gear, chassis, wheels etc are all original, and again, nicely restored.  The seats have been professionally recovered, whilst the rear load area is well fitted out, and even has its own lighting.  Come and have a look – you will love this delightful little Austin.

We are always pleased to consider part-exchange especially for good MGs, or for othe interesting classics, and we can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.

We also sell cars on a commission basis – no sale, no charge.

1936 Austin Seven Opal – £6,950

1935 Austin Seven Opal

This is a delightful little motor car for not a lot of money – an excellent entry-level car into the classic car world.  The car has been restored in recent years and is generally in very good condition now – restoration work included new upholstery, canvas hood, hood cover and side screens, new floors and, we think from the way the car drives, restoration of the engine, 4-speed gearbox and clutch.  The underside is as clean as a whistle.  The suspension is again, all clean and tidy and well-greased.  The car has quite obviously been well cared for and is looking to acquire a new, enthusiastic owner.  It starts easily and runs very well with nice clutch and good (for an Austin Seven!!) brakes.  Comes with V5C and old buff continuation log book from 1957, which confirms that the registration number is more than likely the original.

1954 MG TF – £21,995

1954 MG TF

This is a very interesting example, originally supplied to the Lancashire police force in 1955 (obviously, black at that time), who used the car until 1959 when it was sold on.  This is an original 1500 model, but later in its life, at the time of its extensive restoration, a 1250 version of the XPAG engine from another TF was fitted.  For the following 40 years, the car went ‘under the radar’ but we have paperwork from 1999 onwards.  In the years leading up to 1999 and for some years afterwards, the car was completely restored, including new body tub, reconditioned ‘Fast Road’ engine with unleaded head, installation of a 5-speed gearbox, interior re-trim, full repaint, and full overhaul of mechanics.  Four good tyres are fitted on to first class disc wheels – nice to see these for a change.  The result is an excellent car which has been kept in very good condition by its various custodians, including the current owner who has had the car since 2017.  The chrome work is in good condition, the under-bonnet area is clean and tidy and the structure and underside of the car are in good order.  Driving the car is a delight, with very good performance and the nice 5-speed gearbox, which makes the car very useable in today’s traffic.  Good oil pressure, no overheating, nice quiet suspension and transmission, all in all, a very good car.  Comes with file of paperwork, including photograph of it in its police livery, V5C, MOT to April 2025 and verification document from the MG Car Club.

1954 MG TF 1500 – £21,995

1954 MG TF 1500

Owned by a previous keeper for 33 years, this lovely 1500cc MG TF in Almond Green, is in very good order throughout.  Although we don’t have much history on this car, it is obvious that it has undergone a comprehensive restoration and that it has been well maintained ever since.  The 1500 TF is highly desirable, and is definitely the best of the T Types for everyday usage.  This car starts easily and drives very well indeed, with good performance, strong engine, excellent gearbox, back axle and suspension.  We have recently fitted four brand new Continental tyres onto the chrome wire wheels which are again, in excellent order.  The paintwork is very good with just a few age-related blemishes, the underside is as clean as a whistle, as is the under-bonnet area.  The interior is in good order and to the original specification, and the canvas hood, side screens  and tonneau cover are all first class.  The car will come with a new MOT.  We have a continuation book from 1964 and current V5C.

1935 MG PA 4-Seater – £29,950

1935 MG PA 4-Seater

We are very pleased to offer for sale, this delightful and very rare 4-seater PA Midget, looking very smart in its two-tone livery of Ulster Green and Dublin Green.  The car was first registered in May 1935, and has been in the same ownership for the last 28 years.  There is a large bundle of paperwork with the car, with many photographs showing its first restoration in the 1980s and an extensive refresh between 2007 and 2011.  This latter restoration work was carried out to a very good standard by The Carrosserie Company, and included a full body strip and re-paint (an excellent finish) and a mechanical overhaul including a major rebuild of the engine, which we understand has been uprated to PB engine specification – 939cc.  The gearbox was also rebuilt, and much more besides.  The upholstery, including leather faced seats and door cards, canvas hood and side screens were all renewed by Collingburn.  There is also a hood cover and full tonneau.  The car is therefore in very good condition throughout, and has been used regularly by the current owner.  It starts easily and runs well, with good oil pressure, nice tight gearbox, purposeful brakes and good performance.  All in all, great fun to drive.  The underside is very clean and tidy, the wire wheels are good and are shod with matching Dunlop tyres.  Realistically priced.  MGB would be welcomed in part-exchange.
