We are very pleased to be able to offer for sale this excellent MG Midget, very well presented in British Racing Green, with beige interior. This is a 1979 car, and as you can see, it has been very well converted from rubber to chrome bumpers, with the addition of Minilite-type alloy wheels. The conversion and renovation of the bodywork, including full re-paint, was completed around 2010 and the car has been very well maintained ever since, the current owner having had the car since 2014. The paperwork in the file shows that it has covered only 54,000 miles from new, with a good long-term MOT history. Now MOTd to 17^th May 2025. The bodywork, which has been very well painted, is in very good condition, as is the underside of the car and the interior trim – excellent seats, carpets, door cards and dashboard. There is a vinyl hood, hood cover and full tonneau, all in good working order. This is a lovely car to drive, with plenty of performance from the 1500cc twin SU engine and a nice 4-speed gearbox. Good brakes, clutch, oil pressure, tyres, exhaust battery – in fact just ready to jump in and drive away. Lots of fun for little money – we don’t think you’ll find better for the price. Comes with V5C, old V5, old MOTs, original Passport to Service and driver’s handbook.
